Google has already confirmed that Android Wear 2.0 operating system for wearable devices will land sometime in Q1 2017. The search giant also hinted at a couple of Nexus-like smartwatches built by another company under its supervision.

Although Google hasn't announced it yet, Android Wear 2.0 is expected to hit compatible smartwatches on February 9. Two new LG smartwatches will be announced at the same time, the Watch Sport and Watch Style.

Both these smartwatches will be the result of the collaboration between LG and Google. Naturally, they will be powered by Android Wear 2.0 and will feature deep Google Assistant integration.

Those of you anxious to purchase Google's first smartwatches will be pleased to know that the first renders of the LG Watch Sport and Watch Style have just leaked online courtesy to TechnoBuffalo.

Unfortunately, the cited source couldn't obtain larger images, so we're left with a couple of blurry images that should quench our thirst for information until Google makes these wearable devices official.

They are completely different both technically and design-wise

The LG Watch Sport and Watch Style are two completely different smartwatches, not just from a technical point of view but design-wise as well. Thanks to the pictures leaked, we can get an idea of what the smartwatches will look like.

When it comes to specs, we already know that the Watch Sport will be the better device thanks to its 1.38-inch display with 480 x 480 pixel resolution, 768MB of RAM, and 430 mAh battery.

The other LG smartwatch, the Watch Style, is said to feature a smaller 1.2-inch display that supports 360 x 360 pixel resolution. Also, the wearable device should pack only 512MB of RAM and a small 240 mAh battery.

Both smartwatches will feature crown buttons, but the LG Watch Sport will come with two additional buttons on the right side.
