Just last week, we reported that Google’s two upcoming phones, developed in partnership with HTC, would be rebranded as Pixel and Pixel XL. The devices had been previously known as Nexus Sailfish and Nexus Marlin, and it seems that Google decided to ditch the Nexus moniker this year.

Specs, renders, and even images of the two upcoming smartphones have been leaking for weeks now, and since the release date is nearing, the handsets continue to show up on benchmarking sites.

Pixel XL, previously known as HTC Nexus Marlin, has just passed through Geekbench once again. The smartphone was also spotted on the benchmarking site a while back, and it seems that not many changes have been made to its specs.

Pixel XL to come with Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM

The new listing confirms Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM on the upcoming phone, and chances are this will be the final configuration on Pixel XL. The listing spotted by Playfuldroid doesn’t specifically say Pixel XL, as the Google Marlin moniker still appears, but there’s a good chance that Google did indeed ditch the Nexus moniker.

The listing also mentions Android Nougat Maintenance Release 1 running on the device, and the smartphone will certainly come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In addition, it will sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, a 3,450mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP unit on the front.

The rumored price of Pixel XL could be $599, but that remains to be seen. In addition, internal storage on the smartphone could reach 32GB, with the option to expand to more. Google’s Pixel smartphone, or Nexus Sailfish, will have a smaller display, rear camera capacity, and battery, but processor power, RAM capacity, and internal storage will be the same on both smartphones. Pixel is said to cost $449. It's also important to mention that the two smartphones are rumored to arrive on October 4.
