Google unveiled two new smartphones just a few hours ago, and it seems that the tech giant has already made the devices available for purchase in certain countries. In the US, pre-orders for Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are currently available at Google Store, Best Buy, and Verizon.

Verizon will be the only US carrier to offer Google’s latest smartphones to customers. The 32GB variant of the 5-inch Pixel can be pre-ordered from the mobile carrier for a price of $28.07 per month on a 24-month contract using Verizon device payment. The smartphone’s full price is $649.99.

In addition, the 128GB variant is provided for the price of $31.24 per month over 24 months. The full retail price of the smartphone is $749.99.

Moving on, Google’s 5.5-inch Pixel XL with 32GB of internal memory is currently available at Verizon for $32.08, which means that the phone’s full retail price is $769.99. The 128GB variant of the Pixel XL is obviously more expensive at $869.99 full retail price and $36.24 monthly payments. While pre-orders for the two smartphones are live, they won’t be released until October 20.

Verizon is offering free Daydream View VR headsets for each sold Pixel

Verizon will also offer a redemption code for a free Daydream View VR headset for each Pixel smartphone bought. The mobile carrier also posted an unboxing video of the Pixel smartphones.

The disadvantage of buying the units from Verizon is that they will come with Verizon pre-installed apps and all Google updates will have to go through the carrier before arriving to users.

The two Pixel phones are also available on Google Store unlocked, but the company has been having stock issues with the Really Blue color variant, which apparently is very popular among customers.

The main selling point of the upcoming Pixel phones is surely the new Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, as well as the integration of Google Assistant. Both smartphones will come with unlimited space for pictures and videos in Google Photos.
