After releasing the Chrome 65 web browser for Linux, Windows, and Mac operating system, Google now announced today that it started rolling out to Android devices as well.

Google Chrome 65 (65.0.3325.109) is the first version of the Chromium-based web browser to come with a built-in ad-blocking feature that promises to fight malvertising by preventing websites with abusive ads from opening tabs or new windows and ruin your entire Chrome browsing experience.

"Good news, everyone! Chrome 65 (65.0.3325.109) for Android has been released and will be available on Google Play over the course of the next few weeks, This release prevents sites with abusive ad experiences from opening new windows or tabs without your permission," said Google.

New language preferences, better downloads experience

Apart from fighting malvertising, Chrome 65 for Android also introduces a new Languages menu in Settings that lets users set the language preferences for web content, as well as the ability to enable the prompt for the simplified view mode for all supported articles. This feature can be turned on from the Accessibility settings.

On top of that, Google Chrome 65 now lets Android users easily share and delete downloads via the Downloads page. Of course, this release also brings numerous bug fixes and other smaller improvements, along with all the security fixes that Google addressed in Chrome 65 for Linux, Windows, and Mac.

If you're using Chrome as default web browser on your Android devices, you may want to update it to version 65 as soon as possible. Google says that the new version will be rolling out to all Android users over the course of the next couple of weeks, so if you don't see it in Google Play store today, try again in a few days.
