In what's probably going to be the sweetest news of the week, Google's CEO Sundar Pichai replied to a 7-year-old girl's job application, pushing her to keep doing great in school and to follow her dreams.

To start from the beginning, Chloe Bridgewater, a girl from Hereford, England, decided to write to the Google CEO. It started about a week ago when she asked her father about his job, and if there were anywhere else he'd like to work. He then told her about Google and showed her pictures of those really cool offices full of slides, and go-karts, and so on.

It didn't take long for her to start writing her letter to the "Google boss." In the letter, she tells Pichai how she'd like to work in a chocolate factory or swim in the Olympics when she grows up. She brags a bit about how the teachers tell her parents she's doing well in school, probably to sway the Google CEO to her side.

To everyone's surprise, they actually received a letter back signed by Pichai himself. "Dear Chloe, Thank you so much for your letter. I'm glad that you like computers and robots and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to - from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school," Pichai wrote.

Small gesture, big impact

The letter was posted by her father on Twitter and his LinkedIn profile, and it has since received loads of attention. The response gave the little girl a boost of confidence, and she is now even more eager to do well at school and work for Google when she grows up, her father said.

"Can't thank such a busy person enough to take time out to make a little girl's dream become one step closer, although not sure she's fully aware that it'll take more than riding go karts and sleeping in pods to make it with Google!" reads Bridgewater's post.
