14 DAY TRIAL // Google Calendar is undoubtedly a useful app, and its main advantage is that it can sync across devices using the Google account. Now, it seems there's a new update reaching the app on Android.
Google Calendar now comes with a feature that allows you to see when you’re free and can schedule an event. While this isn’t a huge update, it does help users with adding events and seeing when they have their schedule free for another meeting or a night out.
The new feature detects scheduling conflicts
Still, the update to the Google Calendar app does help users see when they have potential scheduling conflicts that could be generated by double bookings. The feature allows you to check when you’re free, so simply create a new event in the application, and Calendar will display already-created appointments around the time of the said event. It will highlight if there’s a scheduling conflict and help you avoid some nuisances.
Last year, Google Calendar was updated with yet another useful feature, namely the option to set reminders inside the application. Reminders seem like a pretty standard feature, as many calendar apps in the Store have them.
Even so, Google Calendar allows users to set reminders so they wouldn’t forget about events, but it has one main advantage over third-party calendar apps. Google Calendar lets users add contacts from Inbox by Gmail or those saved on their phone.
An updated version of the application is set to come out in the following days in the Google Play store.
