Google's Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones continue to be affected by various hardware and software issues. The good news is most of them can be fixed through updates, which Google seems to be willing to deliver on a regular basis.

The newest issue that has been plaguing both Pixel phones for a couple of weeks is related to Bluetooth connectivity. Many owners have noticed that, after Google's February security patch, their phones started losing Bluetooth connection.

Here is what Google had to say more than a week ago: “We have been hearing a few reports from Pixel users on the latest February security build (NOF26V/NOF26W) that are experiencing issues with Bluetooth becoming disabled at random times.

Are there any patterns for when you experience this? Is it only after using a specific app? When you go into Bluetooth through settings, is it disabled completely?

Well, it appears that many Pixel and Pixel XL users have been experiencing the issue and were willing to provide their feedback so that Google could address the bug.

A fix might be included in the March security update

Today, Google updated the thread on its Product Forum and confirmed that its engineers have managed to replicate the bug. Moreover, they have found a way to fix the issue, which will be delivered in the next update.

Thank you all for your detailed feedback, and to those that submitted bug reports. It has been extremely helpful. The team has identified a fix, and it will be rolling out in an upcoming release. I'll keep you all posted with any other details!

If we are to guess, the Bluetooth connectivity issues on Pixel and Pixel XL devices might be addressed in the next March security patch, which is expected to be released sometime next week.

Hopefully, the next update won't cause any other issues for Pixel/Pixel XL phones, or any other smartphones, for that matter.
