14 DAY TRIAL // On June 28, the GnuCash development team had the great pleasure of announcing the immediate availability for download and update of the seventh maintenance release of the stable 2.6 branch of one of the best free financial accounting software, GnuCash.
Taking a quick look at the release notes for GnuCash 2.6.7, which we've attached at the end of the article for reference, it would appear that the new maintenance release is here to fix many of the issues reported by users since the previous version of the program, as well as to update translations and add new ones.
Among the most interesting changes, we can mention that broken equation now works correctly when processing payment in a foreign currency, and the issue with blank base currency entries in income statement that occurred when trade account transactions were available during the reporting period was fixed.
Additionally, the general ledger and journal reports have been updated to handle correctly the "Use-Split-Action-For-Num" option from Properties, the exchange rate on bill now supports multiple updates per session, an issue with custom colors for the register was fixed, and the SQL password is now required before the wallet one.

Several other bugs were fixed, and translations updated
In addition to the changes mentioned above, GnuCash 2.6.7 also addresses an issue with hidden panes in the log viewer, improves the "Auto pay on posting" message, repairs the detection of the DBI driver on GNU/Linux and UNIX-like operating systems, and makes the software compatible with the latest GCC and Clang versions.
Last but not least, travis continuous integration tests have been enabled by default on the GnuCash repository, the Serbian language translation has been added, and 15 translations have been updated.
