"GNOME Flashback provides unofficial session and helper application. This session consists of gnome-applets, gnome-flashback, gnome-panel and Metacity. And all other modules that are used in official GNOME session," says Alberts Muktupāvels. "Helper application main job is to provide all features that is need for our session, but has been removed from GNOME and/or moved to mutter or gnome-shell."

Bugs have been fixed and translations updated

In addition to the great new features mentioned above, GNOME Flashback 3.18.0 no longer displays the desktop background in the Ctrl+Alt+Tab switcher, implements the input-sources tool for input source switching, along with a screenshot utility, which is based on the well-known gnome-screenshot project.
