Some would say that it's meant to take on the Jet Black iPhone 7/7 Plus, but it really is just a different color variant of the Galaxy S7 edge.
The Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge is meant to show customers that Samsung can launch a “Jet Black” version of its own flagship as well, and provide them with even more options when they order the Galaxy S7/S7 edge.
Even though Samsung hasn't yet confirmed the release of the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge, the smartphone has been captured on camera and the pictures have been leaked on Weibo.
If this is the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge, then the smartphone looks great. We're pretty sure that after many customers have decided to go for the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge instead of buying another, newer Android smartphone, the Glossy Black will have just as many fans.
It's also worth noting that the pictures leaked today come from a Samsung official that operates in China, so it's as real as it gets. We expect the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge to arrive in select markets just in time for the holiday shopping season.
