There’s no better time to buy the HP Elite X3 if you live in the United Kingdom, as the company is offering some pretty huge discounts if you join the most recent trade-in program.

Specifically, HP is offering big discounts for the Elite X3 if you give up on some new-generation smartphones, including Apple’s iPhones or Samsung’s Galaxy models.

Specifically, you get up to 500 British pounds (approximately $600) if you trade in an iPhone 7 or a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, and nearly as much - 400 pounds - for the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus and Galaxy S6 Edge. If you have an iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 and want to replace it with the Elite X3, you only get 300 pounds towards the purchase of the Windows phone.

HP is also offering £125 to customers who bring in any Nokia Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL (that’s right, HP is calling them Nokia and not Microsoft) and £100 for any other Nokia Lumia or any other smartphone.

Terms and conditions

HP explains that in order to be eligible for the cashback offer, you must first purchase an HP Elite X3 from a participating HP Authorities reseller during the promo, complete an online form to register for the trade-in program and then send the old phone to the company. The offer is valid through April 30.

It goes without saying that the devices you want to trade in must be in working condition and the company says they must be undamaged, although the typical wear and tear signs are accepted.

Phones must not be older than 3 years and must be free of any contractual obligations. Additionally, they must not be tied to a specific carrier, so make sure you unlock it before sending it to HP.
