Great news for Android fans looking for an affordable smartphone that will last them through the day, as Chinese company Gionee announced yet another handset with massive battery inside, the M5 Enjoy.

Hopefully, as the name suggests, customers will be able to “enjoy” many days of continuous usage thanks to the 5,000 mAh battery that powers the handset.

According to a new report, Gionee M5 Enjoy will be available for purchase in China beginning December 25. Customers will be able to pick the device in Golden color for about $310 (€280), which is quite decent considering the phone's specs.

Those who decide to go for Gionee's mid-range smartphone will be pleased to know the device ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box, along with the company's Amigo UI 3.1 on top of it.

Only quad-core CPU, but 3GB of RAM

Hardware-wise, we're a little bit disappointed the phone comes equipped with a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, but at least it's coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Also, the smartphone packs a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

There's also an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

When it comes to design, Gionee M5 Enjoy features a unibody metal build, so don't be surprised to hear it weighs around 200g (battery included).

It's also worth mentioning Gionee's mid-range smartphone comes with a physical Home button that covers a fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features 2.5D arc glass.

Last but not least, the M5 Enjoy offers both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support but also includes other connectivity option like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS with AGPS.
