Presidential candidate Donald Trump said that Mexican immigrants were rapists, thieves and drug dealers, for which reason he planned to force Mexico to build a wall at the US border to keep them there. Comedian George Lopez has no respect for him for saying this.

Over the weekend, Lopez was booked for a show in Phoenix, and he made sure to let the world know what he thought of Trump’s comments on Mexicans. His audience agreed with what he had to say.

George Lopez hates Trump

TMZ has video from Lopez’s show, in which he instructed his audience to yell “[F-word] that puto!” every time he called out Donald Trump’s name. The Spanish word means “male prostitute,” but it can also be used in a homophobic way or to mean “[F-word]-er.”

“This country is better with Latinos in it,” Lopez explained. He didn’t elaborate on why he had chosen his show to take a stand against the Presidential candidate, probably because he thought this would serve as enough justification for the profanity-laden interruption.

Trump’s comments on illegals came shortly after he announced his candidacy in the 2016 elections and have already gotten him in very troubled waters. He lost several business partners, which he rushed to sue for breach of contract immediately, and he came under fire in the media.

Trump marches on

Despite the backlash that the comments generated, Trump remained positive that he would still “win the Latino vote” because he was on very good terms with the Latinos. “I love them [and] they love me,” he said in a recent interview.

Donald Trump, whether his critics like it or not, is marching to his own drum and earning increasing public approval along the way.

Late last week, the Huffington Post announced that it would no longer feature news about his “campaign” on the Politics section of the website but in the Entertainment one, because that’s where such a “sideshow” belonged: right there with the Kardashians and the Real Housewives club.

It didn’t take long for Trump to fight back: he released a statement over the weekend to say that the only “clown” he knew of was HuffPo, for posing as “a legitimate news source.” As for his candidacy being a joke, Trump offered a “count-‘em-and-weep”-type of reply: check out the polls and see who’s coming up to the top. There is nothing funny about what a serious candidate he is.
