French publisher and developer Gameloft has just announced that a new major update is now available for their smash hit World at Arms. One of the most popular strategy games for mobile platform, World at Arms is a free war simulation game with top-notch graphics, awesome animations and some realistic units and buildings.

The latest Update 20 brings new features into the mix, as well as some brand-new systems that will replace old ones. For example, the official changelog mentions that the Knife, Pistol, and Grenade PvP system has been replaced by Enhancements & Gear. Also, PvP Units' Power & Cost has been rebalanced to better fit the new Enhancements & Gear boost system.

Furthermore, Gameloft states that the game should now feature easy-to-use Faction, Army, and deploy menus, along with new rewards in Global Conquest (Boss units at Fusion Level 3).

World at Arms players might also want to know that Military Council and Base Structures boost Attack & Defense in Faction Wars. The Underwater Boosters should now affect Thorium production buildings and the top 6 Units boost the power of Prometheus and Atlas.

A new Faction game mode is now available to players

But one of the most important changes is the addition of the new Faction game mode where players can breach the Enemy's Tower Defense. The new mode allows players to establish a new Base together with their Faction, as well as unveil the Fog of War, claim Points of Interest and collect a new Faction Resource.

New Faction buildings are now available for construction and upgrade, as well as Turrets that can be deployed to protect Command Centers.

The new Faction mode allows players to loot Enemy Faction Enhancements and use them to boost their PvP units. Players can also breach the Enemy Base with new Faction Units and Power-Ups. You'll be able to unleash the massive Jotunn to crash through the enemy's toughest defense.

The new Update 20 for World of Arms is now available for download on all three major mobile platforms: Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
