14 DAY TRIAL // French mobile developer and publisher Gameloft has been very busy this week. The studio delivered major updates for some of its Windows Phone games, including Despicable Me: Minion Rush and Dungeon Hunter 5, but they have also launched a brand-new game.
Siegefall is a Clash of Clans clone that allows players to make war, smash castle gates and put their strategy knowledge to good use, all for free.
The new game from Gameloft released on Windows Phone today comes for free, so you won't have to pay anything to play it.
“Journey to a realm where great battles are fought over kingdoms and crowns. Challenge millions of players in fast, tactical combat as you take direct control of your forces to break through their castle defenses using raw might and your mastery of magic,” says the game's description.
In Siegefall, players get to amass their specialized troops such as rogues, trolls and knights, deploy them and take direct control of their Hero in battle to take advantage of the enemy's weaknesses.
The game also features Magical Cards, which allow players to improve their strategy by freezing enemies, launching destructive boulders, or even conjure Dragons.
It does not support 512MB RAM devices
Your main objective in Siegefall is to expand and defend your kingdom with strategically placed towers, explosives, traps, barricades and walls to ward off any invaders that might dare attack you.
Obviously, you will battle with players around the world and besiege their castles for resources. Gameloft also claims the game features “amazing graphics with sylized art,” which should make your troops easier to identify.
You can now download Siegefall for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
Keep in mind that while the game is available for free, it comes with in-app purchases, so if you don't plan on spending real money, then you should totally disable this feature from within the game.
