Game Troopers teased a new Windows Phone game a little while ago and promised to release it soon, but for unknown reasons the studio had to postpone the launch a few times.

Today is the day that Windows Phone fans will be able to get a taste of Game Troopers' new Abyss exploration game, which has just been released in Windows Phone Store.

The year is 3024 and natural resources on Earth are scarce, so the survival of the human race is in danger. In order to find new energy resources, the ASAN creates a biomechanical robot called Nep2no that is capable of withstanding extreme depths.

Your task is to explore the ocean to find a new energy source codenamed “Gaia.” The “Gaia” energy stones can only be found in the depths, so you must control Nep2no by counteracting gravity and the surrounding darkness with the aid of a Light that will go out little by little.

Achievements, challenging levels, Leaderboard and many more

According to developers, the game should be available on both Windows Phone and Windows 8 platforms, but it won't come for free.

The game comes with no less than 20 challenging levels, but also achievements and Leaderboard where players will be able to compete against their friends.

If you like the idea of exploring for new resources, then you can now download Abyss for Windows Phone for $2.99 via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.

Keep in mind that Game Troopers' exploration game is fully compatible with devices packed with only 512MB of RAM.

If the game doesn't yet show for you, then you should try again later since Windows Phone Store seems to experience some issues, probably related to the Windows 10 launch.
