gMusic is one of the most popular unofficial Google Play Music clients available in the Store, so every single update is being delivered to lots of computers across the world.

A new version of the app has been released today, bringing some performance and stability improvements on all builds of Windows 8, along with fixes for some previously-reported bugs.

Of course, the updated version continues to work on both desktops and tablets running Windows RT, so you can install it on Microsoft’s Surface RT too.

Even though it’s offered with a freeware license, it contains in-app advertisements which can be removed if you pay for a full license. Pricing starts at $1.99 (€1.10) for the “Ad Free” package and goes all the way up to $4.99 (€4.05) for the “Ultimate Package.”
