fring has just announced the launch of a full service for Nokia handsets out there, the fringOut solution, which brings low-cost Internet calling to the mobile space, following the availability of a preview for the solution, made available last month.

Currently, the fringOut service, phone users the possibility to enjoy international calling starting at 1c/minute, is available only on Nokia devices running under Symbian, but should become available for Android and iPhone too in the near future.

“fringing Freedom! Now, you don’t have to be chained to your PC to make low-cost internet calling. With fringOut on your mobile, you can call any phone number worldwide (landline or mobile) from 1c/minute,” the company announced via a post on its blog.

fringOut offers low-cost international calls to any phone number, the company says, while offering some info on how much it would charge users too.

“Don’t wait until you are in front of a PC, call from your mobile phone simply because you can… call to tell your kids goodnight, when you’re bronzing at the beach, or at the airport to tell your wife you’re on an earlier flight home,” the company notes.

fringOut has been integrated into the fring app, and should be available for all those who have the latest version of the software solution installed on their devices.

“Make sure you have the latest fring version and signup to fringOut from the app. Then, simply choose the buddy you want to call (please include the international calling code) and dial away,” fring states.

On top of that, video calls, calls, live chat and more are free when it comes to “fellow fringsters and other Internet friends,” the company announced.

One thing that is certain here is that the service should face some strong competition on the market, coming from similar solutions, including Skype and Google Voice.
