Electronic Arts has officially confirmed the launch date for the long-awaited FIFA 16 free demo, as the trial is set to roll out starting September 8 across the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 platforms. Ten club teams and two Women's National Teams will be included, alongside different mechanics.

FIFA 16 was presented to the world several months ago by Electronic Arts' Sports division. After making a big splash by confirming it was going to include Women's National teams, for the first time in the history of the series, the title got more and more details from EA, not to mention videos, screenshots, and gameplay information.

The FIFA 16 demo kicks off soon and packs plenty of free content

Now, after offering a few more tidbits of information in recent weeks, particularly at Gamescom 2015, EA Sports confirms on the official website the first details about the FIFA 16 demo.

The free trial of the game will commence rolling out on September 8 across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 platforms. Bear in mind that not all regions will get the demo at the same time, according to EA, but the studio expects that it will be available at the latest on September 10.

The demo includes, as usual, the Kick-Off mode, allowing fans to start a match right away. FIFA Ultimate Team aficionados will be able to experience the brand new FUT Draft mode, which lets them make different decisions before heading onto the pitch in an offline match.

The new FIFA Trainer contextual training system is also available, in order to teach fans about the new modes and mechanics. While waiting for the matches to load, you can test your abilities in new skill games.

PC, PS4, and Xbox One users will also get to enjoy the fresh Bundesliga Broadcast Presentation feature when Borussia Dortmund plays against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Speaking of teams, there are 10 clubs in the demo, including FC Barcelona or Real Madrid, not to mention the US and German Women's National teams. Three stadiums, in the form of Borussia-Part, CenturyLink Field, and Santiago Bernabeu, are included.

The final version of FIFA 16 starts launching on September 22.
