14 DAY TRIAL // Flock 2016 is the event of the year for anyone involved in the development process of the highly acclaimed Fedora Linux operating system sponsored by the Red Hat giant.
The wait is almost over for Fedora developers and contributors who want to attend this year's Flock conference to share their knowledge and plans for the next major release of the Linux kernel-based operating system, Fedora 25.
This year, Flock is taking place between August 2 and 5, in Kraków, Poland, and the entire schedule has been published earlier today, May 20, 2016, by ex-Fedora Project leader and chairperson of the Fedora Project Board, Mr. Paul W. Frields.
Each year, the Fedora Project team decided on a new location for the annual Flock conference for Fedora developers and contributors, such as the Middle East, North America, Africa, and Europe. So, after two years, Flock is once again hosted in Europe this year.
And it looks like there will be many interesting sessions, starting with various hackfests where Fedora developers will try to implement new features in the upcoming operating system, and continuing with talks about the community, and how to make the life of contributors much better.
Fedora 25 coming November 8, 2016
These days, the Fedora developers are working hard on finalizing the Fedora 24 operating system, which is currently in the Beta stages of development, and the final freeze is knocking at the door, scheduled for the end of May, on the 31st. The final Fedora 24 release is coming June 14, 2016.
Then, they will start planning on the next major version of the OS, Fedora 25, whose release schedule is already online, suggesting a final launch date of November 8, 2016.
