Microsoft has already announced that new Windows 10 builds will be released for PCs and mobile phones after the October 6 event, and it turns out that the company has already sent one to partners for testing purposes.

Russian leaker WZor has posted online the very first screenshot showing Windows 10 build 10558, and although it doesn't reveal anything new, it's a sign that we're getting closer to the public launch of a new build.

Right now, it's not yet clear whether build 10558 is the next version to be shipped to insiders, but chances are that it's not, but most of the changes included in it are also expected to be part of the next release for users.

The latest Windows 10 build launched as part of the Windows Insider program is 10547 and was provided to testers enrolled in the fast ring on September 18. This version brought a number of big changes, including a 4th column in the Start menu, fixes for Cortana and Start menu critical issues, and updates for the majority of built-in apps.

New Windows 10 Mobile version also coming

In addition to a new PC version, Microsoft is also working to update Windows 10 Mobile insiders with a fresh build, which, according to Gabe Aul, head of the Insider program, should be released after the October 6 event too.

Windows 10 Mobile is projected to launch in November, so Microsoft is expected to speed up releases in the next 30 days to make sure it fixes the majority of issues in time for the public debut.

As far as the PC version is concerned, WZor says that more screenshots will be published online very soon in order to let us know what is new in this build, so we'll keep you posted as soon as they go live. A leaked ISO could also be provided sometime in the next few days.
