After seeding the first Beta builds of the upcoming iOS 11.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, watchOS 4.1, and tvOS 11.1 operating systems to registered developers, Apple today seeded the Public Beta versions.

Public Beta builds are now available for iOS 11.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, and tvOS 11.1, allowing anyone who wants to install beta software on their devices to take the upcoming updates for a test drive and see what Apple has in store this time, though, for now, there are only bug fixes and small improvements.

Apple hasn't made any official announcement about what exactly it plans to implement in the first major point releases of the iOS 11, macOS High Sierra 10.13, tvOS 11, and watchOS 4 operating systems, though the latter isn't available for public testing. But we can guess that they'll improve the performance and security of your devices.

Here's how to install the iOS 11.1, macOS 10.13.1, and tvOS 11.1 Public Beta

If you want to install the Public Beta builds of the upcoming iOS 11.1, macOS 10.13.1, and tvOS 11.1 operating systems on your devices, you can do so right now by following our in-depth tutorials for installing the iOS 11 Public Beta, macOS High Sierra Public Beta, as well as tvOS 11 Public Beta. The instructions are the same for these point releases.

Just please try to keep in mind that these are early development builds of iOS 11.1, macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra and tvOS 11.1, which means that some known issues are present, and they've been documented by Apple in the release notes posted on its Apple Developer website.

Once installed, you'll receive future Public Beta updates for the respective OS until it reaches the end of its development cycle and the final release hits the streets. We believe that Apple plans to release the final iOS 11.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, and tvOS 11.1 software updates sometime in early November, when iPhone X will become available worldwide.
