aTV Flash, the user-friendly software that supercharges your black set-top box from Apple, has received a major update. The new version is free to existing customers, while a new copy costs 30 bucks (around 23 EUR).Although it requires the user to jailbreak their Apple TV, aTV Flash is pretty simple to use as well as safe for your little black box, according to the developers.
“Installation is a snap and doesn’t require any physical changes to the AppleTV,” says fireCore, the guys who also make
Seas0nPass - the Apple TV jailbreak tool.
fireCore recently released version 1.2 of aTV Flash, which adds a cool video zoom function to the media player, a screensaver for when you pause the device, a “Recently Visited” section inside its nifty web browser, support for MicroDVD .SUB files, and a file delete option, just to highlight some key enhancements.
The full changelog for aTV Flash 1.2 can be found below.
