Apple TV jailbreak expert fireCore has released an updated version of its Infuse application for iPhone and iPad customers.

Users can now download files from network shares for offline playback, browse network shares with rich cover art and video info, and use a cool list view to see an entire library at a glance.

A volume boost setting has been included, and there’s a new option to disable metadata fetching, something you might want to use for home videos, says fireCore.

Streaming has been improved, and the app detects networked devices much easier now. Some video formats now display better, and the In-App purchase prompts are more visible. Some performance and stability improvements are also included.

Infuse 2.2 is localized in dozens of languages, including English, Arabic, Bokmål, Norwegian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, etc., and requires iOS 7 to run.
