Square Enix knows that Final Fantasy XV is one of the biggest releases of the year and the company is ready to offer a wide range of new content for those long-term fans of the franchise who are interested in paying extra in order to secure one of the special editions associated with the title.

The Day One edition of the Japanese role-playing game will be offered for 60 dollars or Euro and is delivered to those who are ready to place a pre-order, with a Masamune weapon, two special avatars for Xbox Live, a special outfit for Noctis and a Carbuncle pet that will be offered on the Xbox One and a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme.

Square Enix says that postcards associated with Final Fantasy XV will be offered through the company's online store and that other bonuses might be delivered via other retailers.

The Deluxe Edition for the game is offered for 90 dollars or Euro and features a steelbook cover created by Yoshitaka Amano, the Kingsglaive movie on Blu-ray, the Royal rainment outfit, the Platinum Leviathan car skin and the Masamune weapon.

Those who are looking for a truly special Final Fantasy XV experience can choose to pay 270 dollars or Euro for the Ultimate Collector's Edition, which will feature all the previously revealed content and adds the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy anime on Blu-ray, the soundtrack, a Noctis figurine, special packaging and bundles for the game that feature a Travel Pack, Camera Kit, Angler Set, and Gourmand Set.

Final Fantasy XV is set to arrive on September 30

The various versions of the game are impressive and cover a lot of potential fan requests, with Square Enix clearly determined to introduce a lot of extra content for those who want to experience it.

The Brotherhood anime is set to run for five episodes before Final Fantasy XV launches, with each new installment set to offer more information about the backgrounds of the four core characters that the game will follow.

The Kingsglaive CGI movie is more complex and deals with a separate story that takes place during the events of the game and will feature voice acting from Lena Hadley, Sean Bean and Aaron Paul.

Final Fantasy XV was first introduced as a project ten years ago and the developers at Square Enix promise that the title will be worth the wait, delivering an epic story and a new take on both the exploration and the combat that have defined the franchise.
