The latest FIFA game is now available on Windows phones as well, but it can only be installed on devices running Windows 10 Mobile, such as the flagships Lumia 950 and 950 XL.

Electronic Arts is offering the game completely free of charge, and it comes with the same features as on Android and iOS, which include more than 30 leagues, 650 real teams, and 17,000 players from all over the world.

The game can be played with the on-screen controls and, at the first launch, players are provided with a tutorial that helps them figure out the essentials. You learn how to pass, shoot, or score goals.

“Playing soccer has never been more exciting than in the new FIFA Mobile! Build and manage your team, go head to head, and keep coming back for daily content. Whether you’re a savvy veteran or just starting out on the soccer pitch, FIFA Mobile is bigger and better than ever, completely redesigned and built exclusively for mobile - meaning you can get into the game while on the go,” the description posted in the store reads.

Support for Leagues

FIFA 17 for Windows 10 Mobile devices also includes support for Leagues, which makes it possible for players to join their friends and compete in championships with other gamers across the world. This feature includes support for chat and sending gifts, and is supposed to be the largest community for FIFA players on mobile.

It goes without saying that this is one of the most exciting titles added to Windows 10 Mobile devices lately, but the 3.2 rating in the store points to some problems that are still experienced by a number of players. For instance, there are some players complaining that FIFA 17 crashes on their devices, while others say that the game doesn’t even launch.

These are all bugs that should be fixed in the next update, and Electronic Arts seems to be keen on improving the game at a fast pace, so we’ll keep you posted on fixes rolled out by the parent company.
