The development team at EA Sports is getting closer to the date when it will deliver FIFA 16 to the masses of football fans that are waiting for it, and in order to get them ready, the studio is now starting to reveal ratings for the best players included in the simulation.

The positions from 50 to 41 are the first to be shown, and gamers can get a full look at some of the stats for each player, complete with how they have evolved since their appearance in FIFA 15.

The revealed players are:

50. Angel Di Maria 49. Petr Cech 48. Edison Cavani 47. Vincent Kompany 46. David Alaba 45. Diego Godin 44. John Terry 43. Naldo 42. Yaya Toure 41. Santi Cazorla

EA Sports explains that the ratings are based on the matches that the players have starred in, both in league and cup play, during the previous 365 days.

The numbers will be used in both the core Career mode and in Ultimate Team and will be tweaked once the game is launched to reflect real-world performances.

FIFA 16 wants to convince players to play beautiful

The new slogan for the series was announced during E3 2015 when EA Sports brought out the legendary Pele to talk about his career and to encourage all fans of the sport to bring some beauty to their game, even if it is in virtual form.

The core mechanics of FIFA 16 have been tweaked to make the goal easier to accomplish, with a focus on team defensive moves, more passes that can unlock the defenses of opponents and a no touch dribbling system inspired by cover star Lionel Messi.

The game also features plenty of newly simulated stadiums, improved physics, and better presentation.

When it comes to Ultimate Team, the developers are also introducing a new Draft mode that allows gamers to quickly put together a solid team from random elements and then enter a range of four match tournaments that can deliver some solid rewards.

FIFA 16 will be offered on the PlayStation 4, the PC, and the Xbox One on September 22 in the United States and on September 24 in Europe.

Gamers can also play the football sim on the older home consoles, but they will lack some of the core features.
