The development team at EA Sports might be focused on putting the finishing touches on the coming FIFA 16, but with the championships of Europe now in full swing, the studio is also delivering a new Team of Week package for the current version of the football simulation.

Today the highlights are James Rodrigues, who delivered a stunner for Real Madrid, and Ayes, who is having a great time in England.

When it comes to the attacking line, the Team of the Week for Ultimate Team includes only Cavani and Soldado, only one of who plays in a central position.

Midfielders are important for a solid first eleven, and EA Sports has selected Pjanic, Ayew, Nani, Rodriguez and Sneijder.

The defensive line that gamers can access features Sagna, Rodriguez and Godin.

The goalkeeper of the Team of the Week is Akinfeev.

As always gamers can also get seven substitutes, which today include some solid picks like Sako, who has a great start to the championship, and Howard.

The Team of the Week package will continue to get releases for FIFA 15 until the end of September, when the new title in the series will be offered.

FIFA 16 expands the Ultimate Team experience

The Team of the Week delivery is important because it keeps football fans who have picked up the simulation connected to the title even if they are not currently playing and acts as a suggestion that they could try out new ideas.

Ultimate Team is being updated in FIFA 16 with the new Draft mode.

Gamers will be able to first pick a formation they like and a captain and then fill the other positions of their squad using choices from a randomly generated pool of players.

Once the process is complete, they can use it to enter four match tournaments that will deliver more rewards for a higher number of victories, all of them designed to make the Ultimate Team experience more interesting.

FIFA 16 will be offered on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC with a full set of features on September 22 in North America and two days later in Europe and older home consoles get Legacy versions that will lack some functionality.
