Just when you thought there was no more ammo, the Fappening 2.0 carried on with new private photos and videos

A few weeks of silence made us all believe the Fappening 2.0 was over and done, but it seems to not be the case as new photos featuring Miley Cyrus, Rosario Dawson, and Suki Waterhouse surfaced online.

Published by a notorious website known for disseminating nude and private pictures of celebrities, the new wave of photos targets a new set of celebrities. Aside from the names mentioned above, other private footage was released, allegedly showing Mad Man's Alison Brie and Game of Throne's Sophie Turner.

There has been no official comment on the photo leak yet, and we'll probably not get one given the sensitive nature of the content.

It is yet unclear who is behind the photo dump as they seem to be a little more reserved than the hackers that got convicted over the 2014 Celebgate when pictures of dozens of celebrities ended up online.

This time around, the list of affected celebrities includes Emma Watson, Amanda Seyfried, Dylan Penn, Katie Cassidy, Rose McGowan, Lauren Cohen, Lili Simmons, several WWE divas and, now, Miley Cyrus, Rosario Dawson and Suki Waterhouse.

Give these women privacy

As always, if you end up looking for these photos, we advise not to open them. This is a clear violation of privacy, no matter how the photos were obtained. It is, as one reader put it, "digital sexual harassment." These photos and videos were never meant to be seen and accusing the celebrities of taking them and/or uploading them to the cloud is basic victim shaming and nothing more. Everyone has the right to take whatever pictures or videos they desire and keep them on their private accounts, assuming they're safe there.

To fall victim to a phishing attack isn't exactly difficult since that's quite likely the method used by the hackers to get into the accounts, and even more tech-savvy people have stepped into such traps.
