Besides being based on the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Linux kernel 4.16.2, the ExTiX 18.4 Build 180419 release replaces the Google Chrome web browser with Mozilla Firefox, which can be used to watch Netflix movies and TV shows, as well as Ubuntu’s Ubiquity installer with the more versatile Calamares universal installer framework.
ExTiX 18.4 Build 180419 comes pre-loaded with popular apps, including the LibreOffice office suite, Mozilla Thunderbird email and news client, SMPlayer video player, Gparted partition editor, Brasero CD/DVD burning software, and even GCC and other need tools that allow you to compile and install packages from source.
