14 DAY TRIAL // elementary OS “Luna” 0.2 is now out and the developers haven't disappointed since the previous Beta versions.
elementary OS 0.2 is based on Ubuntu, but it would be very hard to notice it. The version numbering might seem strange, but a lot of work has gone into the operating system and the distribution might be considered stable.
From a software point of view, elementary OS “Luna” 0.2 features Midori as the default Internet browser, Geary as the default email client, Evolution for Internet messaging, and a quite a few GNOME applications.
One of the main features standing out right from the start is the beautiful dock, Planck 0.3.0, which fulfills its role perfectly.
