The Flare full RGB mechanical keyboard has been launched by EASARS, dedicated to performance gaming and competitive entertainment.

Using a 32-bit ARM incorporated CPU and with 512kb of flash memory, EASARS claims that the keyboard has a report rate of 1000Hz (1 millisecond) while using a golden USB plug. It has a key backlit with a full spectrum of up to 16 million colors and with 50 million life cycle mechanical switches.

Pretty much like any other gaming keyboard, the Flare has a 2-area layout designed to save space and to carry it around to gaming events. The RGB Mechanical Axis keys will use full color (16 million) RGB mechanical axis to give out a full range of colors using mechanical key with longevity and durability. The LED colors and RGB backlight are adjustable.

This and that, and that one too!

Apparently, the Flare will allow customized programming for your keys, all of them through the AP software. To extend the layer of keys for each profile, the user can push the "Windows key" right and activate its pre-customized set of keys.

With each switch between the five available profiles, the keyboard backlight will blink blue twice while the AP software will display the profiles selected. These profiles can be saved on an internal flash chip of 512KB.

With an adjustable key backlight effect users can assign backlight effects to whatever lighting format they desire. It can be fully lightened, breathing, heartbeat or lights-off. With a brightness control function, the user can also set the intensity of the backlight.

In conclusion, as we have always said, quality is the most important aspect a performance gaming keyboard should have. The Flare has some decent features, but with no Cherry MX key switches, no key acceleration, and no profile switch key, it’s hard to see the Flare as a better alternative to Corsair and G.Skill.
