ebay has tried to get some money for a sonogram picture that was supposed to be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's unborn baby picture, but in the end they agreed to take it off the web site.

A sonogram is a picture shown on a video display terminal that is obtained by bouncing sound waves off an object. It is frequently performed by inserting a probe into the vagina. This harmless procedure, diagnostic ultrasound, shows the fetus in the uterus and makes it possible to obtain valuable information about the fetus such as how many weeks or gestational age, and if there are any abnormalities or unusual findings.


So as for Angie's sonogram, it has been removed from auction website eBay.com just two days after the unlikely item generated over 50 bids in two days, reaching $500 minutes before the online auction was closed, as eBay managers decided that they "violated their policy on celebrity materials."


As spokesman Hani Durzy says, the item, listed as Angelina Jolie's 4-5 month fetus sonogram picture, shouldn't have been put in auction, as Angelina is not known of given her permission for that. "We have pulled it off the site. This listing was being marketed as coming specifically from Angelina Jolie. There was no indication in the listing that she had given agreement to this. We took a look at it pretty quickly and felt it violated our policy on celebrity materials," Durzy declared.
