Those of you who own an iPad might be familiar with the Red Jumper Studio e-book creating app, called Book Creator.

Now months after the app has been made available for iPad users, the app has finally been made available for Android slates.

Users are invited to create stories for their children, build family photo albums or make prototypes or layouts for projects that are going to be ported afterwards in a more advance software.

The application is very easy to use. Tap the + button in order to add content to the page. That includes text, images and audio. The items can be positions within the layout easily with your fingers and one can also resize and add accessorizing elements.

There’s an “I” button or the Inspector which gives users the option to adjust font/size color (in case you selected a piece of text) or allows the moving on an object in the background/foreground.

Your projects can then be shared on Google Drive and this way you can get others to contribute to your work. Furthermore, users can add their handiwork on their personal Google Play Books library.

There’s also the option of exporting your work in ePUB format. Book Creator is optimized to work with 7-inch Android tablets and above, but you’ll need your slate to run Android 4.1 or above.

The app is available for download for $2 / €1.45.
