HTC plans to launch its high-end One X9 smartphones in EMEA countries in the next couple of weeks. Unveiled back in December, HTC One X9 is only available for purchase in China at the moment.

However, according to HTC leakster LlabTooFeR, the Taiwanese company plans to release the dual-SIM version of One X9 in selected EMEA markets very soon.

He also confirmed the smartphone would ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and HTC Sense 7.0 UI right out of the box.

The rest of the One X9's specs will remain the same as the Chinese variant that is now selling in the Mainland for the $370 outright. Naturally, prices may differ from country to country, so don't be surprised if the dual-SIM model is slightly more expensive outside China.

For those unfamiliar with HTC One X9's main specs, here is a quick rundown of what the smartphone has to offer for the price.

First of all, the One X9 comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

No fingerprint sensor, but decent rear camera

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. HTC One X9 still comes with BoomSound speakers on the front, while on the inside it packs a 3,000 mAh battery.

Even though its specs sheet might tag it as a high-end smartphone, the One X9 does not come with a fingerprint sensor like the HTC One A9.

On the bright side, HTC One X9 boasts an impressive 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), LED flash and 4K video recording.

In the front, HTC has decided to add an UltraPixel camera for selfies and video calls. The One X9 offers both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, but other connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS are available as well.
