For those who own too many devices that charge via USB, Softpedia is happy to point out that the people at CableLive have introduced their duaLink sync and charge splitter cable for iPod and iPhone. It lets you sync and charge two devices from a single USB port.

Making a true asset for MacBook Air owners, the product is designed for computers only, meaning it does not work with wall or car chargers. CableLive's sync splitter cable is USB 2.0 compatible, according to the official announcement, and has a USB hub right in the connector that coordinates connecting, syncing, and charging of both devices at the same time, the company says.

"Many individuals or households have multiple portable Apple devices, but a scarce number of USB ports," CableLive explains, justifying the need of this accessory. "Business travelers may have an iPod Nano for exercising and an iPhone for working, but also have a camera, security device, and wireless card that need to be connected to their laptop. The average number of portable Apple devices per household is on the rise," the company acknowledges, adding that, "Mothers and daughters, brothers and sisters, and roommates need to be able to sync and charge more, with less."

Therefore, the duaLink cable was a must-develop for CableLive. It does not only allow you to connect two Apple devices to a single USB port, but it also serves you for both syncing and charging. The main features include:

- Charge and sync an iPhone and an iPod with one USB port on your Mac or Windows PC; - Contains a custom USB hub to coordinate connecting, syncing, and charging; - Works beautifully with iTunes, which can access both devices; - USB 1.0 and 2.0 compatible; - Durable housing and heavy-duty wire holds up through wear and tear; - 9 inches long (23 cm); - Works with all iPhone and iPod models except the iPod shuffle; - CableJive Lifetime Warrantee.

"iTunes users will find that syncing multiple devices at one time is beautiful," CableLive asserts. "iTunes will register both devices at one time, allowing you to select either device to make changes to preferences or change music or videos to sync to the iPod or iPhone. Using the duaLink, iTunes can sync changes to one or both devices at the same time with ease," it concludes.

Interested parties can buy duaLink immediately from the CableJive online store. It costs $26. The company's website is located here.
