14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 build 10525 to users enrolled in the fast ring only a few hours ago, thus re-launching the Windows Insider program and continuing development of Windows 10 improvements with help from members across the globe.
But since this build is only available for the fast channel, there are no new ISOs for those who want to clean install the operating system, as Microsoft only releases these ISOs when a build is stable and reliable enough to be shipped to slow ring users too.
And yet, the ESD files that Microsoft uses to ship the update to Windows insiders can also be used to build their own ISOs that would allow for a clean install. The links at the end of the article can be used to download the unofficial ISOs, but keep in mind that, since they aren't provided by Microsoft, no support is offered in case something goes wrong during the install.
The Windows Insider program
With Windows 10 build 10525, Microsoft has officially re-launched the Windows Insider program, which was first started in October 2014 when the company rolled out the first Windows 10 preview build.
Before RTM, Microsoft announced that the Windows Insider program would be continued after the final version of the operating system is released, so the next updates will also be developed with help from users across the world.
This first major update is projected to arrive sometime around October and although Microsoft hasn't yet provided any information about it, it's believe that it could include major improvements, such as extension support for Microsoft Edge and the new messaging app for Windows 10.
