The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners across PC, PS4, and Xbox One confirm that the long-awaited patch 1.10 for the sprawling RPG has begun to roll out. As such, fans can download the update and take advantage of its huge amount of gameplay fixes.

The Witcher 3 is going to receive its first big expansion, in the form of Hearts of Stone, next week. Yesterday, CD Projekt Red revealed the huge changelog for the upcoming patch 1.10 and led fans to believe that the update was going to appear next week, ahead of the actual add-on.

The massive patch is available for download on all platforms

Now, it seems that the patch is already available for download across all platforms. Fans on the Witcher subreddit confirm that the hefty update has started rolling out across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

PC users are in for two different sizes. Those who have The Witcher 3 on Steam will only have to download a 6GB update, while those who got the big RPG on GOG will have to transfer a whopping 17GB package. The patch is split into two parts on GOG and some fans are reporting issues with their actual transfers.

Meanwhile, PS4 owners can already download the update but they must have about 17GB of free space in order to transfer and install it via the PlayStation Network.

Last but not least, on the Xbox One, players have to download "only" 16GB of files for patch 1.10 via the Xbox Live online service.

The huge size is without a doubt due to the many different gameplay changes made to the RPG by CD Projekt Red. Everything from the mechanics to the performance, stability, quests, and even dialog are set to be tweaked with this update.

Hearts of Stone arrives next week, on October 13, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. It brings about 10 hours of fresh content, as well as plenty of new gear, Gwent cars, and more.
