14 DAY TRIAL // After confirming the debut of the next major patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt today, developer CD Projekt Red reveals that update 1.08 for the major RPG is now available for download across PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms all around the world. The final changelog is also available for your viewing pleasure.
The Witcher 3 was released back in May, and while the RPG impressed millions of players at launch, CD Projekt Red has kept on supporting it with major updates and patches, not to mention plenty of free downloadable content packs that brought new gear, quests, outfits, and much more.
Patch 1.08 is now available for The Witcher 3
Now, the next big update is available for download for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in the form of patch 1.08, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One, all around the world.
The confirmation, made on the official forums, also brings a final version of the actual changelog for the major update, confirming not just the improvements but also the bug fixes or the support for the upcoming New Game+ mode, which is going to arrive as the final free add-on.
Chief among these improvements are some that target the performance issues introduced by patch 1.07 last month. Many users, particularly on the PC, reported some major problems after installing that last update, so things should get better after transferring the latest one.
An array of gameplay and user interface bugs are also fixed, while many problems dealing with achievements, graphics, and quests have also been resolved by the patch.
Last but not least, after installing the update, all players will receive a Wolven Hour potion, which reduces the level requirement on all gear for a limited time, as a workaround for the tougher gear restrictions introduced by patch 1.07.
