League of Legends developer Riot Games has just released update 5.13 for its popular multiplayer game, which brings a huge number of changes to different champions, items, and other aspects. The Public Beta Environment also features the revamped Miss Fortune and the Gangplank characters.

League of Legends has been around for many years now, and developer Riot Games has made sure that fans are constantly met with updates designed to keep things fair and to spice things up in terms of different features or aspects.

Patch 5.13 brings plenty of core changes to the game

Now, players of the online battle arena experience can download patch 5.13 for League of Legends, one of its biggest updates in recent times.

The studio made a series of big tweaks to many of the game's aspects, starting with modifications for champions like Ekko, Jayce, Kalista, Nautilus, Thresh, or Veigar. The patch also lays the groundwork for the latest champion coming to LoL, Tahm Kench, who'll arrive in the very near future, according to Riot.

However, patch 5.13 brings some much bigger changes to different items in the game, starting with an overhaul of the Devourer jungle item enchantment, as well as the Runeglaive. Ability power items such as the Blasting Wand, Needlessly Large Rod, Rabadon's Deathcap, and many others have also been tweaked.

Many different bug fixes have also been included in the fresh League of Legends patch, so check out the changelog on the official website.

PBE now hosts revamped Miss Fortune and Gangplank versions

At the same time, Riot also confirms that fans on the Public Beta Environment can now enjoy revamped versions of Miss Fortune and Gangplank champions. Miss Fortune sports updated visuals and just a few gameplay tweaks, as Riot believes she is in a good spot in terms of abilities. Gangplank, however, gets bigger gameplay changes, in addition to revised visuals.

After spending time on the PBE, the overhauled champions will arrive in League of Legends in the near future.
