Most Grand Theft Auto 5 owners are now able to download the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update for their game, as the patch is already live on PC, PS4, or Xbox One, and should appear soon on Xbox 360 or PS3 devices.

GTA 5 launched throughout the last few years on different platforms, and since then, developer Rockstar Games has released many different content updates for the game, adding fresh goodies, particularly to its GTA Online multiplayer mode.

After the major addition of the online heists at the beginning of spring, Rockstar has added some high-end vehicles and trinkets for players to spend their virtual money on, as part of the first chapter in the Ill-Gotten Gains update series.

Part 2 of Ill-Gotten Gains is finally available for download

Now, Grand Theft Auto 5 owners can finally download the Ill-Gotten Gains part 2 update, which brings all sorts of new goodies for them to enjoy primarily in the GTA Online multiplayer mode, from new vehicles to clothing items or fresh guns.

The patch is available for download, according to Reddit users, on the PC via both Steam and the Rockstar Social Club clients, and it apparently weighs in at around 400MB. On the PS4, the download is a heftier 6.7GB, while Xbox One users have just started transferring the patch.

All sorts of big things are added, but no changelog just yet

According to the initial announcement, GTA Online users can now spend their virtual cash on a variety of new vehicles, from fast cars to boats and bikes, not to mention new weapons, clothing and apparel, and many other things.

There's no changelog just yet for this GTA 5 update, but you can expect Rockstar to share some technical information about the big patch later today.

Until then, start up your devices and begin downloading the Ill-Gotten Gains part 2 update as soon as possible.
