Last week’s GOP Presidential debate on Fox News, the first one in what will be a long series, is still keeping people talking, mostly because Presidential hopeful Donald Trump seems to have taken a severe disliking to Megyn Kelly, one of the 3 moderators.

He expects her to apologize for asking him a question about his misogynist comments, but as you can see in the video below, she has exactly zero intention of doing that.

Donald Trump will not be questioned on a public forum

Kelly’s question wasn’t even half as unprofessional or out of line as Trump would have you believe, but it was clearly meant to put him in a bad light because it exposed him as the kind of guy who’s not exactly ideal to be the next President of the United States.

She asked him if a man who called women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals,” among other things, had the right temperament to be President. In response, Trump tried to laugh the offensive comments away by saying he only said those things about his longtime nemesis Rosie O’Donnell.

When Kelly pushed him by saying she was sure the comments extended beyond O’Donnell, Trump responded with a subtle threat, saying he could be to her as nasty as she was being to him. He then added something about political correctness and how it was killing the country, which “needs brain” to come out of crisis.

That wasn’t the end, though. Trump spent the entire weekend attacking Kelly on Twitter and in press interviews, ending by saying he wasn’t going to apologize to her. If anything, she was the one he expected an apology from because she’d been unprofessional, ridiculous, had singled him out to discredit him and might have even been menstruating.

Megyn Kelly is back on the job, breaks her silence

Oddly enough, Kelly didn’t say anything about Trump’s comments until some hours ago, when her show returned on Fox News.

Let’s just hope that The Donald isn’t holding his breath for her apology, because he will surely suffocate.

“I felt he was asked a tough but fair question. We agree to disagree,” Kelly says. “I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism. So I’ll continue doing my job without fear or favor. And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign so far.”

There is a certain haughty air about Kelly as she says these things (that video too is available below), but she’s already getting praises for handling the situation like a true pro. Only someone of Trump’s caliber would scoop to fight back using his own methods.
