Plastic surgeons must be accustomed to seeing patients with very botched surgeries, desperate to have them fixed. Dr. Paul Nassiv and Dr. Terry Dubrow must be the most accustomed of all, seeing how they even landed their own reality show on E! on which they take only what other surgeons deem desperate, hopeless cases.

That show is called Botched and would be best described as a collection of really tragic cases and cases of people already famous for getting insane amounts of work, hoping to get even more. And some publicity, to boot.

Dee’s case, presented on the most recent episode, falls in the former category. The 2 doctors described it so, even admitting that they had never expected to see anything like this in their life.

Dee thought bigger was always better

Dee hails from Vegas and used to work as an exotic dancer many years ago. When she first started out in this field, she was very aware that, unlike all the other girls, she had breasts so small they were almost non-existent.

The club fronted the money for an augmentation, on the condition that she repaid them later. She went from an A cup to the equivalent of an FFF cup, with 500cc saline implants, but it wasn’t enough. Shortly afterwards, she had another intervention taking her to an H cup, with 1,300cc implants.

When she showed up in the doctors’ office for the taping, she had 3,000cc implants for almost 20 years and they looked horrible: one had leaked and the breast had deflated, while the other was swollen to the point of bursting.

A video from the episode is included below. Since this is a medical show, *please be advised that discretion is recommended while viewing it, as it contains images that might offend.

Dr. Dubrow thought it was his responsibility to operate on her and help her live the life she deserved. He also knew the risks of the intervention (the breast could “die” and the nipples could fall off when he put new implants), but he wanted to do it either way.

2-part makeover is a success

Dee’s makeover was 2-part: first the old implants were carefully removed, so as to not rupture them. Inside one of them, the doctors found what they called “a ball of fungus,” saying Dee was lucky it hadn’t killed her.

Excess skin was removed (and there was a lot of it), and she was scheduled for another intervention after her recovery period was over. Dr. Dubrow hoped her body could handle another set of implants, this time more proportionate to her body.

In the second intervention, Dee got implants equivalent of a D cup, and she didn’t even lose the nipples in the process, much to Dubrow’s professional satisfaction.
