Video game developer Blizzard is announcing that it plans to end the third segment of the Season game mode for Diablo 3 on August 23 of this year and that a fourth one will start no later than five days after this, on August 28.

Gamers will be able to use the time between the two dates in order to get through the rewards they get and to familiarize themselves with the changes that are being made to the game.

The official announcement states that in North America the third Season for Diablo 3 will end at 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time on August 23, with the same event taking place at 5 PM Central Standard Time in Europe and at 5 PM KST in Asia.

Season 4 will go live at 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time in North America, 5 PM CEST in Europe, and 5 PM KST in Asia on August 28.

When the third Season for Diablo 3 ends, gamers will be able to convert the heroes that they have used and leveled up to Normal or Hardcore characters.

Gold and Blood Shard will also be moved over and a similar process will take place for items, with those that are not equipped or in an inventory sent over in-game mail. They need to be claimed in 30 days.

Gamers will get special rewards from the Season experience

Blizzard adds, "Any Achievements or Achievement progress made during the Season is automatically applied to your non-Seasonal Achievement profile. This happens in real-time and does not require the Season to end first. Your Achievement point total is also updated appropriately throughout the Season."

Those who were engaged with the game mode and managed to get to level 70 with a hero will be able to get exclusive transmogrification appearances for both chests and gloves.

More rewards are offered to those who manage to get to certain achievements.

In the five days between the third and the fourth Season for Diablo 3, gamers should probably also expect Blizzard to deliver a new major patch for the action RPG, although full details about it have not yet been offered.
