Video game developer Eidos Montreal and publisher Square Enix are delivering a new video linked to the development of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which offers more information on the New Game+ mode that will be featured in the title.

The initial announcement was made during Gamescom 2015, and the two companies are saying that gamers will be able to use it to experience the world with a range of tweaked mechanics.

New Game+ in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will keep all their previous augmentations, which means that they will be able to use new ways to tackle even early game challenges and that they can make Adam Jensen even more powerful.

Eidos Montreal says that it might make other tweaks to the mode, but more details are coming closer to launch.

At the same time, the studio is exploring the possibility of adding full scaling for the enemies in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which would mean that they become more capable as the main character gains power.

The idea is to make sure that the title always offers a challenge and there's no magical set of augmentations that makes the entire experience much easier than it is supposed to be.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided expands on the idea of the first rebooted title

The story of the title takes place only two years after the events of Human Revolution and the end of the previous title has caused big changes in the world.

Adam Jensen is now a leading operative for an international organization that aims to stop terrorist attacks, but he must deal with both naturals and augmented that are more radicalized than ever and closer to violence against each other.

Eidos Montreal says that it wants to offer more emotion than ever while also giving players a wider range of options when it comes to solving problems.

Adam Jensen will have a range of new tricks to use, including a powerful shield that will stop attacks, a new nano-blade and more ways to use the environment around him to hide or to gain an advantage during combat.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set to arrive during the first few months of 2016 on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
