Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it is currently working to eliminate a problem that was introduced for the new version of the Iron Banner game mode in Destiny, which is affecting all the community by not delivering the rewards that gamers are supposed to receive once a match is done.

The official Twitter account of the company says that it will deliver more updates as more information about the issue becomes available and that a fix will be launched relatively quickly, although a clear ETA is not offered at the moment.

The new version of the Iron Banner event comes with a range of new rewards that gamers can use to upgrade their Guardians, and a special pulse rifle is also offered for the first time as a prize.

A lot of Destiny fans have expressed their intention to take part in the game mode, even if the community has been recent been more interested in the newly introduced Trials of Osiris or Prison of Elders.

The problem with rewards means that at the moment gamers should focus on other Destiny activities to make sure that they get everything that Iron Banner has to offer when they actually take part.

Destiny is preparing for The Taken King expansion

Bungie has revealed during E3 2015 that it will deliver a second major content drop this year, which will be centered around Oryx, a very powerful new character who returns to the solar system in order to take out the Guardians who have killed Crota, his son.

The new area that gamers will be able to explore is a big dreadnought, which will give the studio space to innovate when it comes to the core mechanics.

Bungie is also promising that it will deliver new strikes and other activities, and a range of new gear for Guardians is also being introduced.

All the content that was initially only offered on the PlayStation home consoles will be added for all gamers, both in their original form and with a range of updates.

The Taken King will be launched on all platforms on September 15 and the company has announced that it wants to offer special rewards both for newcomers and to those who have stood by Destiny since it was first introduced.

UPDATE: Bungie says that the problem has been solved and that gamers should be getting their Iron Banner rewards as soon as matches end.
