Bungie really needs to make the coming April update for Destiny interesting for gamers to compensate for some missteps that took place earlier in the year, and the developer has finally offered some solid details about the new content players will be able to enjoy next month.

A page on the official site delivers some initial information about the tweaks and explains how it's anchored in the lore of the game, stating, "The Taken King is dead. Yet still his armies yet claw at our worlds. Even as you led the assault on the Dreadnaught, a powerful would-be Taken Prince fled for the safety of the shadows. Hunt him down before he grows too powerful."

The Light level cap will be increased to 335, and gamers who run the King's Fall raid will get some new rewards that will allow them to improve their Guardians.

Destiny players will get access to a new strike called Blighted Chalice, which will pit them against the new and powerful boss called Malak. Moreover, players will be able to experience a new quest, At the Gates, which will feature more narrative and is also designed to challenge high-level gamers.

The Prison of the Elders is also getting a boost to level 41, with a new Challenge of the Elders introduced for fans at level 42, which will come up with new weapons for those who manage to get a score of at least 30,000 and high-end armor when the 90,000 score is reached.
