Demi Lovato is coming out with a new album this year, and the leading single, “Cool for the Summer,” released last week, is already a hit. She’s been promoting it on the party circuit with live performances, much to the delight of fans.

This weekend, Demi attended another pool party: she came ready to let her hair down, in a one-piece swimming suit and colorful accessories, and she performed live before jumping into the pool to cool off and chat with her fans, known generically as the Lovatics.

Before that, though, she had a mishap that saw her sprawled on the floor, caused by the unfortunate combination of a wet stage and high platform heels. That's a combo women know to avoid, but performers don't stick by the same rules as regular folks.

Though it must have hurt her to fall this way, she handled it like a champ, by not showing any sign of distress. She got up and kept doing her stuff, cheered on by her fans.

She also played it down on social media, writing on Twitter that she was obviously #NotCoolForTheSummer if she had this happen to her.

Still, she had a blast. The video below includes the fall from various angles, and you can hear her fans gasp when she went down, thinking she might have hurt herself.
