Keep an eye out for her at this weekend’s VMAs 2015

In case you missed Demi Lovato’s music video for “Cool for the Summer,” she’s done being and dressing like a nice girl who’s either too shy to show off her fierceness to the world or too afraid of what others might think of her if she did.

As promised, Demi is out to rubbish all preconceived notions about her, to break the rules and affirm herself as the confident woman that she is. No wonder then that her album is called just that, “Confident.”

It will be out in October and has “Cool for the Summer” as the leading single. It also has, as of a few hours ago, an official artwork and tracklisting, which you will find in the Instagram embeds below.

On the cover photo, Demi is rocking her new glam-punk styling in a pair of black panties and a black, futuristic-looking top and matching makeup. There’s some Photoshop in this image, which bugs because Demi’s whole new mantra is love yourself and all your curves. But I guess she didn’t really have a say in the way her photo was retouched for the album.

If you’re a Demi fan, aka a Lovatic, keep an eye out for her this Sunday, when the MTV Video Music Awards 2015 will take place in Los Angeles. She’s confirmed as performer, with “Cool for the Summer.”
