Dell's Barton George is pleased to announce today the general availability of the last Ubuntu-based system for the company's all-new Precision line-up of computers, the Dell Precision 5720 All-in-One.

Back in January, Dell launched the first of three mobile workstations of its new Precision line-up, the Dell Precision 3520, an affordable and fully customizable 15-inch laptop, along with Dell Precision 5520, which the company dubbed as the world’s thinnest and lightest 15-inch notebook powered by Ubuntu Linux.

Three months later, Dell expanded the Ubuntu-based Precision line-up with two more models, the Dell Precision 7520 and Dell Precision 7720 as the world’s most powerful 15-inch and 17-inch mobile workstations powered by the Ubuntu operating system, and now they've released Dell Precision 5720 All-in-One.

"When the team designed the 5270, they focused on the front of screen experience with the 27” 4K UHD display, support for multiple displays out, and an integrated high-end sound bar that delivers best in class audio in an AIO, no need for added speakers," explains Barton George, Sr Principal Engineer, Office of the CTO at Dell.

Technical specifications of Dell Precision 5720 All-in-One
